Swastika tailplane

On yesterdays club run our tea stop was at the Army air museum cafe, Middle Wallop which looks out over the airfield. Whilst there a bi-plane which looked to me (I'm no expert) early-mid 1930's vintage (not a fighter) landed. Anyway it had black on red Nazi insignia.
It did seem a bit odd as even if you were mad keen on historic detail being correct on your vintage plane you'd have to be a bit odd to fly about looking like Rudolf Hesse.
I suppose they might be making a film somewhere?

I think there was a biplane design/adolf hitler in 1933 overlap so it might just be how the plane is meant to look

It was probably a Bucker Jungman

Not necessarily German. Finnish planes of the time definitely had swastikas on the tail.

It's surprising they haven't been shot down. Yet..
