Apparently the if the ambulance vehicle one turns out to be true it could be quite serious, the ambulance service have assigned an investigating officer to check into it.

I get a bit nervous about people requesting him to be friends on facebook, or creating a facebook page. That sort of thing can quickly get out of hand and could end up being construed as harassment.
My advice would be to just let the proper channels sort it out... and be careful about how you (and the rest of us) interact with him outside of necessity.

The facebook page has been created to ensure the video is always available, it is in response to the driver complaining to YouTube and having the originals removed. It also exist's on Vimeo as they do not have the same over bearing privacy rule that the driver used on YouTube.
There was a very recent court case about a guy who set up a facebook page and others to tell everyone the bad things the lover of his wife had done. The lover took him to court for harassment but the judge threw it out as he stated that if the things written on facebook/etc are true, no matter how embarrassing or unfavourable then it is not harassment.
