Anyone have any feedback on these wheels? they look very well specced for the money, look gorgeous and seem to be competing with the likes of Aksiums and Racing 5's

So tempted to get a pair of Heidi Shadows!

They got a good review on road.cc a while back but other than that I dont know much about them.

Well I'm now the proud owner of a set of Swiss Side Heidi wheels..... and oh boy are they nice!

Beautifully made wheels with Sapim spokes and nipples so spares are easily come by, arrived with spares in the box too!

Yeah I'd have thought so, they're just stickers and the rim is nicely anodised,I wouldn't think it would be too much of a drama.
Swiss Side do a 'shadow' version which is a little less shouty but with white spokes!!....the Swiss eh?

Ok, heres my verdict so far.
These wheels arrived well boxed and were supplied with a nice goodie pack of stickers, spare sapim spokes, a swiss side drink bottle etc, the wheels looked ( stickers and coloured odd spokes might not be for everyone ) and felt lovely, nice smooth bearings, good finish and the were straight as an arrow.
Upon taking them in to my LBS ( who were building my new bike ) they were given and over whelming thumbs, especially for the use of Sapim stuff up and much amazement at the price!

I've had the bike for a week or so now and they run very smoothly when spun by hand, and on the road they accelerate very nicely and coast without much resistance. The freehub body engages nicely and has a nice 'click'.
They feel compliant when cornering, and to me feel much stiffer than my old CXP22's, they hold their given line well and feel very well placed ( I'm running Rubino Pro's on them).
What else?... oh yes, the braking surface looks like i has some sort of coating on it but they are very 'grippy' and perfectly smooth, brake feel and action is very good.

At this point, I have nothing to complain about...A gorgeous set of wheels built up using Sapim CX-Ray spokes and Sapim nipples, on lovely hubs for a sensible price!
So these get a big thumbs up from me, I may even order a second set...... I will update you as I run some miles on them.
