A cold is fairly trivial but oh god, how awful it makes you feel, it CAN'T be that trivial. But Man Flu is different!!!!!!!! Much worse - or so Mr Campfire says. Pamper yourself a little & take time to relax & put your feet up. Let them all wait on you for a bit.

It's not something I'd normally be interested in either - I rarely, if ever, go 'shopping' in the girly sense. But I like nice underwear, I like shoes, and I've never been to new york...and it would be great if someone else paid (for once...)

Yesterday my sister-in-law in France was taken to hospital unconscious. She has been ill for some years but successfully led a normal life until recently when after a bout of the illness her short-term memory went. She has been in and out of hospital and the staff have been excellent but now we await that phone call.

Thanks for the replies guys. Sadly we received the phone call this morning just after Mrs A's sister passed away without regaining consciousness. She'll be missed by us all.
