T-shirts good for cycling but not actually an obvious cycling top?

Thinking of returning to leisure cycling to turn around a period of lower activity. Currently utilitarian cycling such as mixed modal commuting. I've expanded since I last did this leisure cycling.

I used to start l wear outdoor hiking t-shirts but now I find I need the longer back more that cycling tops have. Hiking tops are close fitting like cycling tops but uniform length around the bottom of the top.

So what I'm looking for is a more hiking style T-shirt that's better for leaning forwards position such as on a road bike. I don't like lycra look so cycling specific are kind of out. So anyone know a good top that's not cycling specific? Something that is still good for hiking even other activities but is either longer at the back or long enough all around? If that makes sense.

I wear Helly Hansen lifa base layer long sleeve shirts. Good in winter and summer as well, whether it would be long enough at the back for a drop bar i wouldnt know as i ride a flat bar hybrid....probably be ok if not use it for hiking. :okay:

Maybe not what you're looking for but traditional men's shirts have a tail, and are available in cotton. Maybe a grandad collarless shirt?
