Targeted advertising

I was just reading an article in the Grauniad about drink driving (and the increase in women doing it) when I noticed this advert:

Now I presume this is some sort of targeted advert, but it's not targeted at me, I'm not a brandy drinker, so it must be due to the content of the article. I think my irony meter gone a splode.

It is targeted at you, but they can't get it right every time! The worrying thing is it won't be too long before they do.

Will it not just be some advertising spam dooberry which cannot read the ad, obvs, being not human, but can pick up key words like the "drink" and "alchohol" mentioned in the ad?

They usually try to sell me things I've just bought.
