My friend has just dipped her toast in a cup of tea, and then slurped tea as she ate the toast.

Is this normal? ;)

My Grandad used to dip bread in milk - and that was bad enough to watch.

Hmm... when we was nippers, we used to drink milky tea and dip buttered bread into it... Irish parents, that's my excuse...

People I know from the Black Country have also told me it's normal never to bathe.

I'm on the hunt for a new sig .... that's added to the short list, if you don't mind Danny.

I've saw loads of people doing this!

I've even caught Mrs Greedo doing in on occassion when she has a hangover.

It's always woman though. Never saw a guy doing it. Don't know what that means, just never seen a bloke doing it!!

I have occasionally done it with coffee, but not for a while now.

Never with tea, as I don't drink tea in the morning when I have toast.

The French like to dip jam-smeared toast in their bowls of hot chocolate, which I found equally weird when I was a kid.

And the Swedes like jam on their cheese at breakfast whilst they drink some seriously 'off' milk (it looks like milk you've left out of the fridge for a week, and it's all clotty and looks like it has separated).

Toast in tea sounds almost civilised in comparison !

Mind you, she also eats gray pays and bacun, pig's trotters and faggots. So I suppose, tea and toast makes quite a nice change.

Wouldn't the Marmite on your toast make your tea taste funny, you wouldn't have toast without Marmite would you?
