I've had these fitted for a couple of days now with Koolstop tectonic pads and they are brilliant. I had my shortys set up good but these are easily 50% better. Highly recommended for high speed stopping power and I should imagine they will be amazing on a loaded tourer compared to normal cantis. These are probably the best cantis on the market for the money at the moment.
