They work as a cracking backup to my 2 x Cateye 510's...the cat eye's do probably 6-8 plus hours on full power (I recharge at weekend), the torch does 2.... but it's bright..... and fades a bit as it runs out but you can tell, so in the charger the batteries go. My set up is more than enough for an urban/lit commute.

Yep - bought mine today. I was going to get 2, but they only had one left at Gallows Corner. Now to try to find the brackets on ebay again.

Had mine fitted a few weeks now and I've noticed that vehicles don't seem to pull out of side roads anymore... even though I'm quite a distance away and there's plenty of time for them to do so! Almost feel a bit embarressed when I eventually reach them!

Yup, I get this too, and I feel exactly the way you do, LOL!
