The battery in my Tesco bike computer died a few weeks ago and I couldn't be arsed replacing it. But last weekend when I was cleaning the commuter, I realised that I didn't miss the stats so took the computer off.
During removal I noticed that there were two deep cuts in the wire which could explain why it suddenly stopped working.
Anyhow, the wired unit has been binned, but I still have the computer if anybody needs /wants it.
