Have you looked elsewhere? Try Millets and Blacks to start with. Also take pack size into consideration.

The down one at £35 was pretty pants IMO, bought it for my eldest when he needed something very light & compressible. He likes it.
The artificial fibre one was a lot cheaper & better value.... but very much warmest nights only or indoors of course.
With a £50 budget I'd go for something like this
or if you can stretch to it a Mountain Equipment Starlight which you can sometimes find reduced to around £70

Tesco do some reasonable stuff, so no reason to reject them out of hand - but check the alternatives before you buy - eg Decathlon, Snugpak. Do a search on thisbforum for pissibilities.

I have the Vango Ultralite 200 and wouldnt recommend it, but there again I guess you need try something naff to appreciate a quality sleeping bag. Im now on the look out for a quality sleeping bag and appreciate that I will need to shell out !

Mine was a cheap purchase to see if I liked this touring lark, one of a few mistakes I made- tent included.

Does this mean that the zip was bad and you couldn't get out in the middle of the night!
