To the roadie on the white Trek that I drafted at the top of the Roseburn path and along West Coates Road (in Edinburgh) at about 8.10 this morning. I was on the rattly grey hybrid. If you're reading this I forgot ;) to say thanks when we hit the traffic so I'm saying it now, thanks

Dont mind being drafted, as long as the other person takes his turn at the front. Otherwise I just pull over and let the lazy sod pass.

Yeah but the trouble is when they take their turn they're too slow:angry:

I'll gladly draft/follow all the way if they're faster than me, likewise I ain't bothered if someone does it to me, they're welcome, costs me nothing

that said in London traffic with the state of the roads, proper drafting ain't really on

that and anyone fast tends to jump the lights

I hear your new bike has a small problem with the bottle cage. I was having a wheel sorted out from my Kinesis and was chatting to Neil this evening.

I went for a wee cycle up the Path of Condie on Sunday, after 30 miles I reached down to get a drink and saw the cage was at a funny angle. The bolts had come loose and the bottom bolt had gone. I replaced it with one of the other bolts to find out that the lug thread was stripped. When I got home I replaced it with another bolt that has a bit more teeth and its holding it loosely. If it hadn't been new I probably would of just used thread lock (or whatever its called) I phoned Neil and he's going to send it off to Kinesis and he's offered to open the shop to suit me
