Your 'exploration' post inspired and reminded me; there's a road I've been meaning to ride for ages. I've been a bit focused on getting miles in of late and was in danger of loosing interest in cycling. There was a break in rain so I decided to chance it and went out for a couple of hours... and rode that road! Got a bit wet too but I came home having thoroughly enjoyed just being out for no other reason than going for what we called in NZ a 'tiki tour'.
