Had 2 guys at work vs me and another cyclist try the old no road tax , no insurance routine.

"yes i would pay road tax if it existed and i would happily pay the same as any zero emission vehicle "

"Yes i have insurance"

They gave up soon after that as we then used its not cyclists that are at fault you get idiots using every mode of transport

Just kidding! Some organisations like British Cycling and CTC offer insurance, in the event you are in an accident. It's optional but recommended (I don't actually have any insurance, but need to badger parents to get me sorted)
