Early Monthly update as last weekend warning .We have 20 riders fully posted up leaving 3 riders yet to declare so a gentle nudge to @bruce1530 ,@iandg and @PaulSB . @ColinJ I have you ticked off the list there's nothing in the challenge thread but I pretty sure I've read in the chatzone you done a ride and can't be bothered to reread the thread 🤣 just making sure your over the line

Bad day for a long run - after 6 when I got back. Out for over 8 hours but I did do some sightseeing a 4 Abbey 1 Castle ride, though the second last abbey had closed for the day by the time I got to it and I didn't stop at the castle or the last abbey as it was spitting yet again.
Went out again after me tea and a change of kit to do some forestry trails (not included in the total), but a tranquil end to the day as the weather was fine in the gloamin' - and I wasn't worried about running out of battery on my phone...

That may well be it for July. I may get a ride on the 30th/31st but there's no chance before then.

Not for one moment! 🤣 I live about 500 yards from the Leeds Liverpool canal. There's a bridge for our village. Riding 1½ miles by that on the towpath just to turn round is a complete no, no........

A shame but the hot shower temptation is too great.

I’m in too. Not been doing a huge amount of cycling recently, but need to step it up a bit, as signed up for the Chris Hoy Tour-de-4 for Prostate Cancer in September

So, here's my fall-back excuse for probably not attempting a qualifying point for August on the 1st. Today I had my second shingles vaccination and I'm already feeling a tad grotty. I will, of course, reassess the situation tomorrow. (And I do fancy a ride out to Felixstowe on a geared bike after several days of having fun on one of my Fixed Gears. It'll seem like a luxury!)
