Is it me or are flags getting made with a lighter shade of blue these days?
I dunno, show's some pics to compareIs it me or are flags getting made with a lighter shade of blue these days?
Collecting salutes is he?I think he was just running that idea up the flagpole.
Do you mean a flag poll?
The Scottish Parliament’s education, culture and sport committee has set the optimum shade of blue for the flag as Pantone 300.Scotland's fading as a result of still being in the union.
Or maybe not.
You bloody bugger! I knew this, I actually knew the Pantone for the blue in the union flag. But you beat me to it. Buggering bugger! The Pantone colours (186 for the red and 280 for blue) are the official ones for the Union Flag and all UK derivatives (Bartram 2004). They are quite dark, but then so are the Union Flags that follow the official specification. The red also has quite a large blue component and even has some black. The CMYK values are C0 M91 Y76 K6. The dark blue is C100 M72 Y0 K18.5
He does tend to be able to google at speed....
Yes but the Scottish Parliament agreement was on the colour of the Saltire not the Union Flag. The Scottish Parliament’s education, culture and sport committee has set the optimum shade of blue for the flag as Pantone 300.
The other way round?

If you adjust the colour and contrast settings on the telly, the blue can be a bit lighter or darker....
Which is why I said "The other way round?" as it's the lighter shade of the two blues.Yes but the Scottish Parliament agreement was on the colour of the Saltire not the Union Flag.
