Edited for you
A bit of both maybe. I laughed for the last bit. Rather well put together by who ever did it.Why did I laugh a lot? Is it inherently funny, was it the music, or is there just something wrong with me?
I feel really awful now. I did do a lot of wincing and flinching too. As well as congratulating myself for never getting involved in such a clearly lunatic pursuit. It was the shocking experience of HEARING a big crash behind me on my third Cape Argus race that made me decide not to do it again. The sound of outrage in the voice of the woman who went down first and then the thump and scrape of bodies and bikes hitting the road were horrible; I had already wondered what my boss would say if I rang him from a Cape Town hospital on the following Monday to say I'd bust a hip and wouldn't be back for a few weeks so this just concentrated my mind. On top of that, baggage handlers had had a good go at smashing up my bike box on my first trip so I decided I'd been lucky up to then and not to push it. I heard later that people were helicoptered out of the crash.
There'll be no change in expression there then CuchI watched it with a scrunched up hurty face .
