That's why the invaded in 83'. The military Junta was having big internal problems... Quick start a fight!

Sorry Lanzecki, didn't mean that to come across as rude, but this distract the populous tactic has been used by every nation, not just military ones. Currently in this country it seems to be persecute the people who need benefits for whatever reason, because they make the country poor, all the time ignoring the banks, tax dodging big corp etc.
Back then over there, it was take back the Malvinas, it'll make everything better, a little national pride goes a long way. The US tried it with Vietnam (badly) and later with Iraq etc. Politics....sucks eh.

No worries mate. Not taken badly. It hadn't been said, and not everyone remembers it, or is a interested party.

I'm sure Mrs Thatcher wasn't unhappy about Argentina attacking. She was having her own problems at the time. I agree though they all try and do this type of thing. Our best tactic here is to try and start a scare about windscale. After all it's on the Westcoast of the UK.... With a prevailing South westerly wind.

Our Government is good at releasing bad new's at the best (for them times) like the 24th of December.. Or a local company letting 10 people go over the week between Christmas and New years.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Fleet Street Fox has real style. The writing really rolls along.
Outstays its welcome, though. That sort of lightweight froth about something serious lasts about half a page before it turns into a crashing pub bore.
