The forks on my old 531 frame have cracked - what are the options?

Have you tried getting a quote for a fork repair yet? Id be surprised if you weren't pleasantly surprised.

Bob Jackson's originally quoted £90 for a repair or £125 for a new pair of forks. However when I brought the old forks in they decided they could "braze them up" for just £40 - including a complete respray.

So I was very pleasantly surprised!
