I was watching the start of the F1 today and when it kicked off I was watching on the BBC - pushtheredbutton and was 'in someones car' alonso I think it was and then they started, when they did:

It was like they where on fast forward...



How can anyone watch that

At least with ciclismo you can see the riders etc...and some nice scenery !

I'm tempted to agree - apart from the first corner which is the equal of anything else on the F1 calendar the rest of the lap is pure boredom made worse by the lack of overtaking opportunities.

Perhaps they could get the drivers to stop half-way through and have a piss by the side of the road.

I have to say that I am delighted to see F1 starting to disappear up its own arse. Like it's not all a big publicity stunt, but still...
