Found this site the other day whilst looking for details on Trooper Lane (Halifax) & Lee Lane - 'aka' Shibden Wall' (also Halifax area) for someone on FaceBook

There's a few other climbs in there that should feature in the '100 Greatest Cycling Climbs' book

I've run (well part-way,& walked the rest) of Trooper Lane, during the 'Bluebell Trail 10' (miler)

Having watched the film clim, I'm impressed by the guys riding it (560feet of ascent in half-a-mile, so it's claimed!!)

Not to sure if I have the balls to manage this one but as most of the route is virtually on my doorstep I might just have to try a few of the climbs and see if I end up as a quivering heap before the top ^_^

I'll try and take some of these in next time I'm visiting. If you see someone walking a bike up one of these it's prpbably me. I'd always recommend going up Lord Lane after you've gone down it. Can be a nasty sting for the legs. Mytholms lane is an alternative way across the valley from the top of Haworth Main Street and the ascent at the other side is longer if you take the option to keep going up.
