If you liked Belleville Rendez-Vous in terms of the quality of animation, character observations and quirkiness, then enjoy Sylvain Chomet's latest offering 'The Illusionist' The quality of the animation is stunning. Beautifully drawn and observed. Funny, sad, bittersweet, poignant... it's fabulous. I want to see it again to pick up on all the little background points I'll have missed on this first viewing.
