This happened to me yesterday, a chav went to try kick my bike. Unfortunately for him, the PoPo were just behind and stopped for a chat. Haahahahahahahahahaha!

Good; but I hope you turned around and went back to make an official complaint with the Police. Not sure about procedures in England, but up here in Scotland they would need a victim in order to lock the scumbag up. There was loads of evidence, Police witnesses and camera too, it doesn't get much better! He could have been done for assault in Scots law, even though there was no contact.
Without a victim though, he was probably just given a warning and sent on his way.
