It 'amplifies' power? Is that possible?

(I'm only going by the blurb, I havn't got sound, so I haven't heard any explanation on the video...)

I think he might be encouraged to wear some more suitable clothing, going at those speeds - think of the road rash....:ohmy:

Eh....looks better padded than my lycra, and he's got a motorbike helmet....

I think all it means is that for every watt the rider produces, the battery supplies 50 additional watts. There's no such thing as free power.

it is bollox - power amplification - no such thing as free energy.

read FAQ on the website, in between the lines it can be deduced it is a rechargebal battery power bike with pedal driven geneerator - bloody expoenisve for £ 40,000!!!

Well, that's what I thought - if you could really 'amplify' power' like that, you could power your house from an exercise bike.....

i want one. it basically a cross between a motorbike and a bicycle and i think its a good way forward with all this carbon emission/green revolution. it will encourage people to exercise too, and soon the price will come down and we can all have one. no petrol to buy for it either so once it takes off and the price comes down it will pay for itself. and the fact that it's fast will make people want one too. one reason people don't like to commute by bike is because of lack of time.

This is old news. The guy launched those in 2007 at nearly £60k a bike. Hand built too. H emust have found a distributer and factory. Will get blimmin hot pedalling in leathers and a full face helmet though
