Just received mine and I have to admit that I rather approve; I can't think of a more vivid illustration of how much tax and NICs I've paid and how that has been spent by the Government. It's surprising how tiny the contribution to the EU budget is compared with what gets spent on Pensions, Education, Health and Welfare.

Now watch as my small burst of optimism gets shot down by all the naysayers, cynics and amateur Socialists who seem to inhabit this forum....

I make it more like 33%, but maybe I'm doing a different calculation.

I'm surprised how little is spent on Rebekah & Rupert, although I do approve, kids get too much nowadays.
