As most know I regularly flitter to and fro to a wide variety of European countries on a weekly basis. OK, sweeping generalisation alert; but right now at the height of the summer season it really brings home to me how poorly we fare in terms of dress (or lack thereof) looks,self respect,, health, attitudes and manners compared to our neighbours. Brits abroad stick-out like sore thumbs and it's not pretty. Somehow we've lost our way

Very proud to say that I think manners cost nothing and being in foreign climes is no excuse. Spent the last couple of months teaching a 3 & 7 year old how to say Hello, Goodbye, Sorry, Excuse Me, Please, & Thank You in Turkish in preparation for their Jet Setting with Grandparents on Monday
