They are a pile of shoot. The best films that I have seen for several years were foreign. Oh and District 9 was a great film too, then again it never had any big name actors in it whatsoever.

I wouldn't normally, and can't understand why anyone ever wants to see these awards ceremonies, BUT, I am glad that 'The Artist' won.... whatever it was, Best Picture or sommat, seeing as it is the first silent film to win since 1929!! (and second ever to win since the start).

That said, I do wish the campaign had been successful and they had started a new award for animals. They had tried to get the Dog in The Artist, Uggi nominated for an award you see.

The w*****s didn't allow it, which I think is a shame.


Anyway, back to the usual crap humdrum films next year no doubt, and will we need to wait another 83 years for the next silent movie to come along I wonder??
