Cause: piece of glass embedded in tyre, probably put a hole in the tube on hitting a speedbump.

Buggeration factor: low. Nearly home, tyre deflated slowly. Just shifted my weight over the front wheel and nursed it home on back streets. Fixed it inside while having a cuppa.

Tyre: 23mm Armadillo

Note to self: check tyres more regularly.

25mm armadillo and a rear inner tube 4 times the thickness of a normal innertube apparently.

Very reliable (touchwood)...Though there I was thinking it would be three years before my next deflation a nail went through it the next day a few months back.Been good as gold since.

May fit the front with one at some time in the future.
