A day working at home..... but clearly catching up on old school(circa 1980) animation too!!!



I feared when i saw it on the EPg that it would be a nasty updated version but no, thank gawd for small mercies or something like that......

Cool - the original theatrical shorts started in the early 60s and were directed by Hawley Pratt who was the layout artist for WBs Looney Tunes in the 40s and 50s, classy stuff!

I used to love the Pink panther show as a kid, I think the animation on the PPS goes back well before the 80's, I watched it in the early mid 70's. I'll have to catch the shows on the Beeb.

It was quality stuff - and then they went and brought in Crazy Legs Crane. Tedious shite.

Same happened when they brought Scrappy-doo into the Scooby-doo show. WTF were they thinking of?

It was practically my favourite show in the 70s and early 80s along with Scooby-Doo, Battle of the Planets and, of course, Monkey.
