I saw it when it came out ( the event also included Rebecca Charlton taking a q&a with Stephen Frears and David Walsh )
It's quite well done but it's a long and complex story to get into an hour and a half, so (as a lot lot of films do) it rushes through the story.
Watch it. It's quite entertaining, just don't expect an indepth expose on the subject matter. Frears himself decribed it as a crime movie.
