I'm getting gyp from my housemates telling me that it's easy to cycle in the snow.

Heh, think that must have been the best monday morning commute in all time, like a big kid. Judging by the smiles on 1 or 2 of the other cyclists I saw on the way in I'm not the only one.

No probs with my commute today. Side roads covered, but main roads mostly clear. Toyed with taking the mtb rather than the tourer, but glad I didn't in the end.

Could be a different story on way home if the forecast covering arrives. And tomorrow, if this lot freezes overnight...

It was mostly ok for me main roads mostly clear. Decided to get the train a bit of the way and then a few miles riding after....the train was only ten minutes late and had space for 4 bikes.
Best service I've ever for that line

Other than a light dusting of snow and slush it didn't seem to bad this morning. I managed to avoid the wind on my cycle in. Now I'm in work its not so nice, the snows blowing horizontal maybe should take the bus home.

I'm happy to write in them all .. I had such a great time on the way in this morning.

I did it mostly off road: there was loads more people walking than normal and everyone I saw seemed cheerful .. it was much more fun exchanging smiles and greetings with them than being in the car cursing all the other drivers.
