What a semi final between Bingham and Trump. Some unbelievable breaks in the final session despite the immense pressure both players were under. Anyone who has played the game seriously will know how difficult it is to hold yourself together when it really matters and both players would have been worthy finalists. Well done to Bingham who fought off a tremendous comeback to pinch the last frame, if the final is anywhere near as good it will be worth watching.

There's no doubting how much it means to Bingham to reach the heady heights of the World Champs final. I'd love to see him win it. Murphy is in imperious form though. I hope it's closely fought and that the semi-final hasn't taken too much out of Bingham.

Indeed, a match worthy of a world final. Ebb and flow and both were feeling the pressure, but after the 64 minute frame Bingham seemed very relaxed and composed and, IMO, deserved to win.

I'd have bet my life Bingham had blown it when Murphy came back to fifteen all, but those final three frames showed not just his class but his bottle too. What a great match.
