Not really clumsiness, but I also remember at school once, one of the boys went to kick a carton of juice he had and then catch it in one big extravagant motion.
You can predict what happened, can't you?
It burst when he kicked it and showered everything and anyone in the surrounding area with juice, including himself.

Despite the rest of us practically p*ssing ourselves with laughter at his general stupidity, both the teacher and the people covered in juice were far from impressed!

8. I have a permanent lump on the right of my forehead from where fell over a lot as a kid. One time in particular sticks in my memory, i was running towards my house and tripped, sending myself head first onto the brick wall :ohmy:uch: walked into the house with blood dripping down my glasses.... (sorry no photos lol)

More recently I was helping my 18 month old down the stairs while carrying my phone in one hand (galaxy s2). Son decides he wants to be carried so instead of just placing my phone gently on the stairs I chucked it towards the safety of the sofa. Expecting to see / hear it land softly, I heard it hit something hard  I hadn't seen the glass that had been left on the sofa. Result: broken screen second time in a month and 70 quid room get it fixed (again)

10 - I once had a boss who took me aside and asked if i was being beaten up at home because I had so many bruises all the time from walking into things and tripping over stuff.

Probably my best clumsy moment was when i fell on the pointy end of a ski and fractured my skull, although I also fractured my sisters arm (twice ) by accidentally dropping her as a child!

I can't put a realistic scale to it but I am more clumsy now, since I have been ill, then I was before.

Now I occasionally drop cups and mugs unless I have a firm grip of the handle, and glasses if I don't have a hand or even just a finger under the base.
I also drop tools and nuts and bolts and similar stuff.

Before I could feed a bit of coat hanger wire through a small hole in partition wall and aim it to reappear from a small hole elsewhere for pulling cables. Now I struggle to aim the wire into the first hole.
Also I used to be able to locate a spanner onto a nut, and turn it the right way, in a completely blind and hidden location behind machinery. Now I struggle when I can see both sides of the nut and bolt, and then I drop the spanner.

I have been told that it is because, for some reason, my brain has lost track of where my limbs are, and so I also walk a little oddly and stumble and get dizzy.

I feel we should make the distinction between clumsy and careless.
I do wonder if A&E depts are seeing a big increase in nutcases of people who walk into lamposts when texting. (Other obstacles are available)

3 ,but when I do get clumsy I do the best I can to do my worst, but as you get older you see more fear, not sure if that's better or not?
