It's true, the Met Office long range forecast does mention snow:

risk of some snow showers, most likely across hills in Scotland and northern England.

Which slightly less dramatic than every inch of England having 30" of snow. But it's close.

So - a serious risk of snow on Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike

Widnes will just get rain

Reckon I can cancel the order for a snow blower!!!

I have bought some string and pinched a smooth stone cobble thing.I have tied the string around the stone,and it now hangs near the kitchen door, outside,i am not that stupid.And it goes like this,if it is wet when i look it is raining if it is dry then it is not raining.i have a 100% correct forecast so far.
