What's with the BMX helmet?

This could be done with 2 Contour cameras.

As I say, they almost all phrase it that way as shorthand for 'save the loop recording in progress'. See the windscreen camcorders for cars which frequently use the same phrasing.

That would make perfect sense for an ideal system and you would expect that to be the solution they are offering.....

....but - can you imagine how much battery power you would need to carry around to keep 7 video cameras recording on loop - fine in a car but on a bike - no chance.. especially as it all appears to be self contained in the helmet.

Not a great deal if it's for a typical commute distance. Remember, there will be no displays, which is what burns most of the power.
