The woods are full of little green aliens!

Just got back from my local woods and they're absolutely heaving with the little bleeders. Parakeets, I mean. They must have moved across from Hampstead Heath, where there's been a colony of the wee feathered antipodeans for a few years now. Comin' over 'ere eatin' our seeds 'n that...

We get them round my way too (Bexley area).

Apparently a load of them escaped from an aviary in the 1987 storm. I quite enjoy seeing them actually. Much more attractive than the overweight wood pigeons that keep robbing all the food off my bird table.

Yep loads round Welling too. Don't mind looking at them but they don't half make a racket first thing in a morning (less of an issue now as their "first thing in the morning" is my "first cup of coffee at work" but in summer they were a pain)
