Although she played other memorable roles that's how I'll remember her, she was Brigit Forsyth the actress who famously played Thelma the long suffering wife of Bob (Rodney Bewes) in the Likely Lads has died aged 83.

She was also a musician singer and composer and played the cello.
She also appeared in Open All Hours and many other progs.
Here's a clip of her in that wonderful comedy series:

. If I remember rightly she played a role in yon Emmerdale farce as well. I know some might say I'm making it up but only the other day I wondered if she was still alive. I thought of her when thinking about watching all the Whatever Happened series on you tube over Christmas, to get me through the boredom of the event. I watched them all about 2 years ago, so even though I know what comes next they're still a nice trip down memory lane. Yes, I think I'll watch them now. It's either Whatever Happened or all the Jeeves and Wooster, but I did that one last Christmas, so they're still too fresh in the memory to watch all over again.🧐
