Club hill climb yesterday and managed a PB 8 seconds quicker than when I was 40 (13 years ago). Mind you, I was coughing and wheezing like a 90 year old with bronchitis for the next 24 hours.

As a total aside i have just run 2 miles non stop and had a conversation whilst i was doing it. I haven't been running since 2010.

I am gobsmacked at the life and energy left in this 47yr old.

Well,why not?By the time I arrived home yesterday,against a headwind out and home,with no energy to start with,I wouldnt have had the breath to blow a childs plastic trumpet!
