A planning application has been submitted for Mineral Extraction and Land Fill in Thetford Forest. If this is approved we will loose two large areas of forest. This happening when areas we have access to ride in Thetford Forest are vanishing by the day - This will be another lost!
There is an online government petition, but the whole thing has been kept very quiet with locals only finding out about it less than a week ago.
The closing date to sign this petition is 28h March 2008, and at this point in time it has less than 300 signatures.
