Ain't it strange how food finds its way into the deepest crevices...
You are lucky to have teeth, when I was a boy we were too poor to have teeth.
We were so poor we couldn't even afford gums. Had to chew our gruel with our bare jaw bones.
A personal favourite of mine is a chunk of black peppercorn, I've bemused most of my friends by adjusting the knob on my peppermill whilst seasoning my dinners as hardly anyone knew you could adjust them to dispense different size particles of pepper (placeholder for @Fab Foodie and @The Velvet Curtain to state "everyone knows that")
I was having a meal round at a mates place (a rather tasty sausage and mixed veg 'Tray Bake') when I asked Pete if he had any black pepper to which he replied " Yeah but it doesn't work very well, I've tightened the 'nut' up but it seems to not work anymore" he was quite shocked when I undid it a bit and pepper came out.
But........... the joy of finding a wee bit 'stuck in yer teeth' after you've finished a meal and the 'kick' you get when crunching it.![]()
