Things you hate about the summer

i will start with,


bare chested men walking around the shops/public areas .

using the pub toilets urinals whilst wearing flip flops & having someone elses piss splashing back over your feet.

A queue for the shower at work.
Caravans on the road.


Things i love about summer:

Seeing bloaters sweat.

I have a theory ..i always wonder if the accident rate for cars goes up in the summer...gawld knows, there's enough to distract you as it is !!!!

The heat (sorry wigsie, & gbb) - considered moving to Sweden at one point to avoid it - but not an option now...

Having to cut the grass every weekend, especially when its sunny all week and then rains saturday morning and the bloody mower does cut wet grass, just flatterns it down.

Not beig able to breathe or sleep properly due to the heat and pollen..

I hate dodgy attempts at temperature control...
1) Buses... got bus in today, blooming heating pumping hot air out. Bus driver said he can't turn it off. Someone answered this for me on here a couple of years back, but i can't find it now... I looked it up, and it seems they don't have proper thermostats or something... hot in summer, cold in winter... how stupid is that??????

2) Ridiculous air conditioning. Got off the bus, short cut through M&S.... food bit, it's so cold the staff are wearing big thick fleeces...

Ridiculous, both scenarios. Oooh, it riles me, it does...

I was thinking this morning how lovely it is commuting in the summer.

If I hate anything it is :-

1) Weeding.

2) Weeding.

3) Having to take all day to put up a swimming pool and then dismantle it come September.

I just thought it was the Edinburgh bus drivers having a laugh !

Ever noticed how people pull open all the bus windows in the middle of winter, yet when you open one in summer they slam them shut again and glower at you ?

being in the darkroom for 10 hrs no air conditioning so very hot and you notice the chemicals smell a lot more in the heat and only seeing the sun when I come out to make a cuppa
