Two festivals so far/no festivals
Twenty 100km Audaxes/eighteen Audaxes by the same time
Lots of live music events attended/a handful of live music events attended
A kilt/no kilt
Three children living at home/two children living at home

Life for me began at 50

Life didn't actually slow down. If anything it's gently accelerating and has been for the past ten years.....

hot girlfriend (allbeit mental)
had a well paying job
waiting on A level results (which were good)

now:
single
looking for a job
got 1st year of uni results (crap, barely passed, and had a pretty crap year)

last year: just turned down for promotion and going for job interviews, trying for a baby not really thinking it would happen, living in damp rented flat. A bit depressed.

this year: promoted, big research grants and looking forward to new job in Canada, baby due in December, and we have bought a lovely house on an island with an acre of land and a barn. Happy.
