Been a good year for me, my 2nd full year of cycling.
Smashed last years mileage by at least 1500 miles, still a small chance I'll make my bonus target of 5200 miles (originally it was 3650 and was done in September)
Have really enjoyed the forum rides I've been on this year, 11 of them, including my second ever century ride, met some great people and hope to do plenty more in 2012.

Rode my first Audax in April, SITD a hilly 65 miler from Hebden Bridge, the fellow CC'ers helped me round there when I was flagging near the end.

Have discovered a nice little offroad route to work and am enjoying that a couple of times a week (though it does mean I have to clean the bike more so maybe this should be in the 'negatives')

Negatives-
Not lost as much weight as I should have, though I am a stone lighter than this time last year.
Also had my first fall a few weeks ago, as falls go it was pretty uneventful and totally my fault, luckily it was on a shared use path and I was on my hybrid so the damage to me and the bike were minimal.
All in all am really looking forward to 2012.

The Good

Summer tour along the EV6 route from Beaunne to Passau in August
FNRttc York to Hull in September
Commissioning a Woodrup Chimera touring bike.
Next year's installment of the EV6 route planned.

The Bad

Only rode two Audaxes instead of the customary 20.
Getting cellulitis and being unable to walk for a month and kept me off the bike for two months

The Ugly

The rolls of fat that I am to shrink next year when I aim to be more active.

Mine started really quite well, managed to maintain some reasonable mileage last winter by extending commutes most days.
Got some nice miles in early on, weathers been decent, one memorable highlight was meeting up with an old pal to do a decent ride...it degenerated into a pub crawl
20 miles in about 5 or 6 hours, 7 pints and the last mile home saw me dismount and walk.

Ironically redundancy should have given me more time on the bike, and despite getting some nice rides in, decorating and jobhunting seemed to get in the way. A new job requiring 40 mile car commutes each day and longish hours have decimated my cycling.
Worst is, i can't see it getting better in the short term..

A good year generally, just over 5000 miles covered, done a couple of Forum Rides and met some people off Cycle Chat, done a half distance Audax, The Cotswold outing, with riding to and from the HQ covered 119 miles, my first Audax and my biggest mileage for about 10 years, commuted and done a lot of club rides. Still not at the level I was before my Angina in 2008 but I've been going well and enjoying myself.

Not all that great....
But - did the Dartmoor Classic of 65 miles though, which was pretty cool.
Met some of the chaps on here and had a good ride with them one evening.
Managed at least 20 miles most weekends in the summer.

Didn't commute as much as i thought / wanted.
Did train enough for Dartmoor (more hills next year i think....)
Haven't been out since October.
Didn't use the cheap fix-up i got from ebay - turns out it's a pile of pants (even fixed up).
