Has anyone used this yet? I understand that in low phone signal areas you can connect to Wifi and use the phone, or texts. Great. But does it charge you any extra, or are there limitations?

I'm asking because my father has almost zero mobile reception in the house but if he could use Wifi all the time he would be able to call for free (no landline charges and not eat into his mobile contract minutes)?

don't know 3 in touch in particular, but there are many options available already, so guess it would just be using internet allowance (although most are unlimited now) probably the same as face time etc,

Yep, I use it here. My signal is rubbish in the house, but good in the bike shed a few yards away!
'3 In Touch' doesn't seem to affect my bill. The only thing I notice is that, with texts, it shows as different conversations. That's no great problem though.
