Mrs SoulOnIce is incredibly liberal and understanding. She just says "be careful." She know exactly what the route is like as in the summer she did the (15 mile) commute a few times.
But for some reason she just trusts me not to get into trouble. She is far too understanding and reasonable.

V used to do a daily cyclo commute into London from Lewisham, so we have an unspoken understanding that my ride was probably awful in parts, but on the whole enjoyable and far nicer than doing it in a car or on public transport.
She doesn't like me to me ride through Streatham late at night, which means a long day is often tailed by a 6 mile diversion through the most congested streets I can find in the SE.
