I spent 10hrs in Derbys observation ward after co poisoning and discovered its where all the alcoholics and druggies got put when going cold turkey or medicated. 30 plus on that ward and only 2 sane.people in there. Me and a guy recovering from surgery. Made it interesting not. Felt sorry for the staff.

Oh FFS! I was moved to a different ward. A downgrade if you ask me but so, so worth it to get away from the shout man in pain.
Imagine my utter horror as 30 mins later the very same was wheeled in to a bed opposite me!! His cries are deafening. Almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such an ass earlier.

Shame my wife didn’t wheel him in, she would have taken him out on a wall first

Maybe he liked you so much he asked to be moved to be near you again.

So they gave me Oramorph instead! Result! 👍
