Early start for meeting fun at the main office, swimming on the way home and then if I get time a run

The weather certainly has taken a turn, I was even contemplating a short ride on Saturday to see if my leg has recovered. Still might.
In the meantime, gym after work.

Just get on with it.
Roller with pole attachment. So easy.

Didn't quite go to plan - because the emulsion was proper sticky, some of the places where water seeped through the old paint stuck to the sticky roller, leading to much swearing. I'll wait for the new paint to dry, then attack it with a damp cloth and a scraper to see if I can persuade any other flaky bits to come off, then will retry with a brush. on the affected areas. Reasonably happy with the rest of it though.

Did get a sunny stroll in though, which was a bonus. That said, I'd love a whole lot more rain, as you can beat a good Alpine storm, and the garden needs it.

Perhaps it needed a decent brush and a coat of PVA.
Or me.

Some gentle brushing, having removed some more barely-attached paint, seems to have done the trick, so you're excused attending this afternoon (but thanks for the offer). It's slightly patchy, so will do a second coat later.
