A friend of mine has just told me how she has managed to get tickets to see Peter Kay in Birmingham.
Price of tickets, £35 (each) + booking fee + transaction fee + delivery fee.
Venue, Birmingham NIA, 5 nights, all sold out.
Date April 7th - 11th, 2011.
2011 !!!! They take your money and send you the tickets 48 hours before the show in 16 months.
I suppose there are 2 ways of looking at it:
1. You pay 2009 prices for a 2011 gig, good value.
2. Promoters get to trouser many millions of pounds for the next 16 months for nothing (there are 53 shows in total).
