Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
I grew up with that word being used for the multi million Ferrari fans around the world.
At one point I was one of them but I decamped to Lotus.

Halfords are doing these, question about the bike not Halfords, are they any good and would they be ok for a bit of light touring, commuting and a general all round bike.

Tifosi is the house brand of Chicken Cycles. Chicken also imports Campag, Cinelli, Deda, Vittoria, Miche and a load of other kit into the UK market. The frames are good - the CK7 is quite popular as a winter trainer and is well up to the job of light touring, commuting, etc. Didn't realise Halfords were doing them.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Fair enough - I was never young enough to take advantage of C2W. About time HMG introduced a similar scheme for those who have left work.

I'm guessing that these bikes are not sourced by Halfords through independents but after a look and bit of research, I might forego the C2W and wait until I need to change my bike and buy one of these. I am thinking of the retirement due in the next couple of years and a bit of touring.

Dawes Super Galaxy or something from Enigma or Spa then, if it's your retirement bike ;)

Never ridden one but seen quite a few on Audaxes not surprisingly. As a light tourer/winter trainer/commuter etc it would be ideal.

I would buy a bike from Halfords but wouldnt ride it until I had checked everything was put together/adjusted correctly. Some Halfords bike mechanics are good some are hopeless.
