After a bout of flats, I put some tire sealant in my tubes (presta valves). This was a month back, well its worked well no flats, but my tires are low on air. I tried to pump them up this morning but really struggeled to get air, in fact I think I had less air than when I started. I'm wondering if the sealant is the heart of my problem, jamming up the valve or such like? Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?
That's something that's always crossed my mind with tyre slime products, and it must be a possibility, hence why I don't use it.

Good tyres, decent tubes, by which I mean not too many repairs, you don't have to pay top £ for decent tubes, rubber is rubber IMO, and correct tyre pressures should be all you need.

Dunno, is you pump working right?
I slimed several sets of tyres, only had a problem once, but that was when I actually inserted the stuff at first, the slime would not go in, so maybe the valve was faulty. In fact on changing inner tube all went well.

I've read that with some sealant products you must inflate the tire with the valve in a certain position, otherwise the sealant can solidify inside the valve. Not sure on the specifics as I don't use sealant, but it could possibly explain what you are experiencing?
